New Testament
he New Testament deals explicitly with the 1st century Christianity. It is much shorter than the Old Testament. All events occur and are written of, or after Jesus was born. It consists of 27 books, whereas the Old Testament consists of 39 books. They are both equally important. The first four books are called the gospels, because they preach of God's Savior, Jesus, coming to earth.
