Exodus is the second book of the Bible, and boasts multiple forms of content. The first part of the book tells of the Israelites' escape from Egypt and wandering through Sinai, and the second part begins to list the laws set up by God to govern His people with. It is part of the first five books of the Bible, known collectively as the Books of the Law, or the Pentateuch.
